Apart from contributing towards the development of education for youth, the American Somalia Foundation is also working for the betterment of the other necessary areas including the health and social works.

Our Mission

The American Somalia Foundation is a charitable organization that believes is equality for everyone. The organization provides financial support to poverty stricken tribes. We support children and individuals irrespective of their race, religion, gender or political affiliation of parents. We believe in hope and equal opportunities to essential education for all children. Our organization is committed to improving the lives of underprivileged communities. Our special focus is on all in need including, women, men, children and youth. ASF’s unique value proposition is its broad engagement between communities and civil societies. We are working hand in hand with the supportive individuals in United States and thereby, intend to build a lasting bridge between the government, grant funds and people in need. After all, our main goal is to see hunger-free and well-educated Society.

Increase enrollment and retention of school-age children
Empower local community groups to support education programs
Enhance the professional development and performance of teachers
Improve reading outcomes
Raise educational awareness and support among parents, teachers and religious figures
Eradicate hunger and fight poverty through different social welfare programs
Work towards the betterment of medical and health facilities

American Somalia Foundation aims to provide quality educational facilities to the local communities to improve their living standards and help eradicate poverty. We are joining hands with our local communities to expand the scope of development in the region. We believe in global equality for all children are no exception. The only way to upgrade living conditions and promote greater equality is through the provision of quality education. Assistance in health and medical facilities is also imperative.
